Register a domain

  I can’t start a site for free, and just pay the £13 per year for my domain name. The only option is that WordPress will pay for domain registration and I need to get a paid plan. Why? I don’t want or need this! I just want to pay for the domain registration and start my site FOR FREE! Is this no longer possible?

  Hi @blueguitarbabe, you can buy a domain to reserve it. That will redirect to a free site for you.

  If you want the custom domain to be primary, you will need a paid plan.
