register a new blog with own domain

  While i´m filling in the required forms like name, phonenumber etc, the pc does not accept my german adress. eventhough i write it corecct: Joachim-Friedrich-Straße 21
  How should i type in my adress so that the pc accept it??

  one more question: how can i change the actual name of an existing blog? i want to change the blogname simplyaboutfooddotcom.wordpress.com to simplyaboutfood.wordpress.com!

  but this is only a question beside the topic that i want to register my own domain

  It’s possible that the form will not accept special characters like “ß”. Can you try writing your street name with an abbreviation (for example, Joachim-Friedrich-Str. 21) to see if that works for you? Please let me know how that goes.
