register and mapping

  I just bought mapping ($13) through Paypal. I already have my own domain (JessicaGemma.com) through GoDaddy. I want http://www.jessicagemma.com to go to a WordPress blog. Do I need to register it? I’m so lost and confused as to how to delete the http://www.jessicagemmadotcom.wordpress.com site and add http://www.jessicagemma.com. I’ve already changed my namesavers 1 & 2 to point to WordPress.

  Hi Jessica,

  Your name servers are still pointing to the GoDaddy placeholder name servers, not here to WordPress.com. Can you please try updating them again as described here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/#instructions-for-mapping-an-existing-domain

  Here are GoDaddy’s instructions for how to do this on their end:
