register another blog not working

I have been trying (unsuccessfully) for the past half hour or so to register another blog with wordpress.com. (I am talking about an additional blog on my existing account.) I click the link from the sign in page “register another blog”, and the page loads fine, but the field where you are supposed to enter the new domain name you wish you have for your new blog ” ______________.wordpress.com” will not let you click on it to start typing there. I can type inside of the other fields with no problem. Blog Name, etc. The domain field is the only one not working. I even tried submitting it with the “create blog” button knowing it would give me an error screen telling me I had to choose a domain name, and it did, but the area still would not let me type inside of it. I just contacted support. But I was wondering if anyone else is getting this, or is it just me?

Try the Cookie Dance: log out, clear browser cache and cookies, restart.
Also, what adblocker, etc are you using?

I had already tried your first suggestion before I posted. And to answer your question, Google toolbar with ad blocker, but it has never interfered with wordpress before, or registering a blog before. So I don’t think that’s it. But thanks for trying!

Ah, I think I see what may be going on. The blinking cursor line is so thin on my display that at first I thought it wasn’t coming up either. Can you try to put the cursor in the right place and then just start typing? Report back, plz.

I tried that before (typing without seeing anything), but I will go try it again right now.

Wow it worked this time! I can’t see the cursor there at all still, but this time it did let me type. Thanks! I probably wouldn’t have tried that again.
