Are you saying you would like to publish to your WordPress.com blog https://chrysalisfly.wordpress.com/ using the Microsoft Word editor?
I am not very sure if that’s possible, and it’s not recommended either. Microsoft Word is a fine word processing tool, but for publishing on the web, it’s not recommended to use Microsoft Word. It’s best that you write on the WordPress.com post editor itself.
It’s not very hard either. WordPress.com is available at https://wordpress.com/ and you can login with your WordPress.com account to write and publish content to your WordPress.com site.
Plus, there is a Windows desktop app and mobile apps available for WordPress.com too. The apps are available here.
Even WordPress.com highly recommends that you use the WordPress.com post editor to write and publish content. But, if you are copying content from a Microsoft Word document, you can make use of this handy guide to make sure your content retains the format you see on the Microsoft Word editor.
I hope this helps clarify things. Feel free to get back if you have questions.

I’ve been searching for an answer to this problem for a few months too. I would prefer to use MS Word as the formatting and layout tools are easier (or maybe just more familiar) than WP. I have installed the desktop version of WordPress.com and still prefer MS Word. Another problem is that I want to be able to prepare and edit my posts offline while travelling but even the desktop version of WP needs an internet connection to work. MS Word offers the option to write and upload blog posts, and an interface to register to my blog which judging from other posts appears to have worked sometimes. I’d just like help to find out why we can’t use it.
Thank you. -
@strikbuys Yes that was what i wanting to do. Im happy to use the wordpress editor but just happened to find the blog template on MS Word and thought it was a good option. I can still use MS word to draft a post and save to my computer if im not able to get online anyway and then later upload it. thank you so much for your response- it really did help clarify things for me.

@chrysalisfly, glad that helps. If you ever have questions related to your WordPress.com account or WordPress.com sites, get back and we will help.
@elainebatiste, though your discussion is similar to the one on this thread, please refrain from posting on others’ threads. You can post a fresh thread here with specifics of your own and we can discuss things there, or offer help. Thanks.

@strikebuys apologies, on other forums they often don’t want you to post a fresh thread where there is already a conversation on the same question. I’ll remember that here in future.
