Register domain.

  Hi, I’m having a massive problem trying to renew liaparis.com, the guy who used to take care of it for me left some time ago and now I’m left with an “expired domain” message.

  I’m trying to renew through “My upgrades” but I really can’t get it to work and if I try adding the domain as a new I get a message saying something like “Domain already mapped on our servers.”, what should I do? How can I renew my .com domain?

  Hi there,

  The domain liaparis.com expired on October 23, 2013. Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 80 days. During this time, the domain may be put up for auction or sold on back-order. You can learn more about expired domains here: Domain Expiration

  The domain can still be recovered and renewed, since it has not yet been deleted or purchased by someone else. A late renewal fee of $80 will be added to the regular price of renewal. However, only the owner of the domain (the WordPress.com user who purchased it) can renew it. They can do that by going to Store > My Upgrades in their dashboard.

  If the domain isn’t renewed, then once it completely expires you can try to register it again yourself. However, we can’t guarantee that the domain will be available to register again at that point. (There’s always a chance someone else will buy it first.)
