Register your .blog domain

I received an email ‘Register your .blog domain today’. Before registering I just would like to clarify a few things. When trying to register it states ‘Free with your plan’, what exactly does that mean? What plan? And will I still be able to manage my .blog through WordPress site?

That means if you have one of the WordPress.com plans, .blog is now one of the available domains

Yes. Adding a custom domain to your WordPress.com site doesn’t change anything about your site.
