Registered a domain through wordpress. Need to transfer it. It does not show in admin panel.

    I registered a domain through wordpress.com
    I now host it elsewhere.
    It is not showing up in my admin panel. Only the sitename.wordpress.com is showing.
    Whois shows the registrar as WildWestDomains. But I have to make all changes through wordpress.com
    But wordpress.com does not show my domain on the list of domains.
    I can purchase domain mapping for the domain. But this does not do what I want it to, as I no longer host with wordpress.com
    I need to request a transfer authorization code, but there is no place to do so and the steps that are in all of the how-to’s only work if the domain is listed.

    The domain seanaspeaks.com needs to have the DNS servers changed back to ns1.mediatemple.net and ns2.mediatemple.net

    Hi there,

    It looks like the domain registration subscription expired. You’ll need to renew the registration first and then you’ll be able to either change the name servers in the DNS Settings or transfer the domain to a different registrar.

    I’ve just sent you an email with a manual payment form. Let me know if you didn’t get it.

    The domain has been paid for via the manual form you emailed to me and it’s still not showing up in my admin panel so that I can change DNS servers.

    I never received any notification that the domain was expiring, and when the site went down I wasn’t informed of what the problem was until I posted this support request. At this point my site has been down for a very extended period of time which is causing me to lose traffic and possibly taking a hit to my search engine rankings.

    I’ve just added the domain back to your account. You can manage the settings here:

    It might take a few hours for it to start working for you but it’s up and running for me now. It can help speed things up a bit to clear your browser cache.

    I’m not sure why you didn’t receive the renewal notices, sorry. We send out several before a domain expires. Maybe they went to spam?
