Registered Domain Expiring early, is this correct?

  Hi there, I’ve received an e-mail yesterday from WordPress notifying me that my Domain that I last renewed January 5, 2013 (and expires January 24, 2014) is going to expire on December 25, 2013. “My Upgrades” page tells me that it will auto renew in December but my “Domains” page says it is active and will renew on January 24.

  There’s a one month discrepancy there. Hope you guys can clarify or fix it if there’s an error. Thanks!

  Hi there – We renew all domain-related upgrades one month in advance of expiration, in case there’s any problem (such as an expired card). It still renews for a full year from the actual expiration date (January) but it just renews a month early (December).

  I’ve always renewed it manually in January and I think this is the first time that I set it to auto-renew so I was surprised to get an e-mail renewing it early. Turns out that it really was just going earlier. Thanks for that! More power to you guys!
