  Registered domain linked to a completely different site

  Hi there,

  You domain thisyellowboy.com expired back in May of this year. It fully expired and was purchased by someone else when it became available for general purpose.

  What you purchased a couple of weeks ago was domain mapping, which is something that allows a domain that is registered elsewhere to show up on our servers. Since you don’t own the domain anymore, I have gone ahead and cancelled that domain mapping and issued you a refund.

  Amazing, great. I wished I had come across this earlier. I’ve accidentally purchased it again thinking that something else had happened.

  So what will i need to do in regards to a domain and such? will i need to create a new one?

  Yes, I’m afraid you will need to find a different domain to link to your site, as this one is now taken. If you are very attached to this domain you may want to consider reaching out to the new owner and seeing if they’re willing to part with it, however such transactions carry quite large risks and we do not generally recommend them.
