registered new domain – what now? cannot see it

    Hi there-
    so I have just registered a new domain. Swimclubtapes.org
    However when i click on a published page it goes straight to a Virgin Media page saying – http://www.swimclub…etc is unavailable or doesnt exist.
    I have only just one hour ago bought the domain so would it take a while to be in effect?
    or what else do i need to do>

    Resolves fine for me to a WordPress.COM blog with no content just a couple of Pages.

    It can take 24 to 72 hours for all the changes to migrate to the far corners of the internet.
