Registered Website Not Registered

I registered a website called quickropes.wordpress.com that I had ended up changing the url to a finropes.wordpress.com. Everything was fine and showing up the next day, however today when I go to my supposedly registered website today, the page that showed up stated that my my finropes.wordpress.com page doesn’t exist. What happened to my page?! I didn’t receive any email saying that my website is being taken down or anything else of the sort. I have had to restart everything including ‘registering’ my not so new website url (if it even is registered). Please explain what happened here.

I see that you are now up and running with finropes.wordpress.com. Great! We did have a glitch that occurred when you changed site URLs, but everything looks good on our end. Are you still having any issues?

Thanks darnelldibbles for replying! Is all of my previous information lost? Thankfully I was just in the beginning stages of setting up my blog, but I don’t want to upgrade my account once I have a finished product and have this happen yet again.

No, this will not happen again. If you lose your content because of this glitch, we can get it back for you. However, if you didn’t have much to begin with, I’d suggest starting from scratch so you do not have to wait for us to fix the issue. But, you shouldn’t have to worry about losing your content again!
