Registered with a choice of URL, does not show after verification

  Hi all,

  I have registered with WordPress last night after checking for a specific URL, however, after verifying my account and visiting my profile I found that I had no blogs registered. So I thought let me just add one, much to my surprise, I got a message saying that that URL is unavailable.

  So I visited the URL, and the page showed me that “It is no longer available, the authors have deleted this site.”

  I cannot see how or why this has happened. Seeing that I only registered after thoroughly checking the availability of that URL. WP had even suggested I purchase the domain name with several different suffixes at $15 at the time of registration.

  Does anyone have any idea how to remedy this situation?
