Registered with a wrong email address

  Hello,

  I tried setting up an account and accidently mistyped my email address on Friday. Instead of (email visible only to moderators and staff) I entered (email visible only to moderators and staff) (one letter missing).
  Is there a way to get my username back? I waited a few days hoping that if unconfirmed it would expire but found some hints around the web that it might never do.
  Please help…

  You can change your email address in your Account Settings, or in your Personal Settings under Users → Personal Settings in your dashboard.

  Thanks for getting back to me. The first link leads me to this message:

  thermadesign.wordpress.com is no longer available.
  The authors have deleted this site.

  Is there another way to get to that option?

  Sorry about that – I provided you with the wrong link.

  Try changing your email address in your Account Settings, or in your Personal Settings under Users → Personal Settings in your dashboard.

  The email there is the correct one. How can I get “back” the username I registered on the incorect email? The username i am seeking to get back is “stuntmanlt”

  Hey there,

  You created the account you are contacting us from and now have the e-mail you wanted associated with stuntmanlt is now associated with the new account.
  You can only have one account associated with your e-mail.

  If you want the e-mail associated with the account you can’t gain access to, you’ll need to change the e-mail associated with the e-mail you are contacting us from. Then, you’ll be able to use the info I provided below to regain access to the account. Just sign into the account using your username.

  Are you able to log into your stuntmanlt account now? Remember, you can change the e-mail address under your personal settings.

  All you need to do is go to https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php and add stuntmanlt as the user name plus whatever password you created for that account. Then, you can go to Users > Personal Settings under your dashboard to update your e-mail to the correct one.
