Registered wrong email

  I registered a domain name and it was successful, however I didn’t register it through my current wordpress and accidentally entered the wrong email address now I can’t recover the name is there any way of getting it back?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello!
  One question: Which domain registrar company did you use to register the domain (GoDaddy? Bluehost? etc.)
  Sometimes even though a confirmation email hasn’t been received you still may be able to access the site. Please try going to your domain registrar and entering in the wrong email address. If it works you will able to change email address to the right one.

  Hi,
  I used wordpress.org to register. The name was successful but I wasn’t able to retrieve a password. Now it seems lost.
  I will try that, but just not sure how I can access it without a password.

  Hmmm. Ok.

  Did you register via one of these companies (or any other one) advertising on WordPress.org?
  Such as BlueHost, GoDaddy, Dreamhost, Laughing Squid?

  OR

  Did you register with WordPress.COM?
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/

  I ask because WordPress.ORG does not register domain names. WordPress.ORG provides the .ORG software that those sites than use to power your domain name. However, WordPress.COM does.
