Registering a domain & lining up images on a blog?

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi, I have 2 enquiries –
Firstly, I want to register a domain (www.siouxzeesgallery.wordpress.com) and change my current havecamerawilltravel.wordpress.com blogsite without losing the followers I already have. How do I go about that & what is the cost?

Secondly, whenever I do a draft blog, I have hassles lining up the images so they all line up at the top & once I have them lined up, & add text, when I post the blog, the images are no longer lined up, which results in a very messy blog (please have a look at my site to see what I mean, especially the latest one). Please cna you assist as its proving to be very frustrating! Thanks a mill

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Soooze,

It sounds like you want to change your blog address which can be updated via the admin panel:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/#instructions-for-changing-your-blog-address

Regarding the alignment issue with your images, you appear to be left-aligning all of them which is causing the display issue.

If you want a two-column picture display, the image on the far left should be left-aligned or “Left.” The image on the far right should have no alignment or “None.” You can find information on image alignment here:

You can find information on adjusting images in existing posts here:

Hi neaishataatjes thanks for the above advise, much appreciated. Having successfully changed the name of my site, I can now go directly to the blog via the link, but in doing so (as ‘followers’ would, not when I log in), I lose the header image and title….any ideas as to why this is happening? Have a fabulous day!
