Registering An Existing Domain

  I have a website registered as 1yellowpage1.com, but I want to get rid of it and buy that same domain name on wordpress. I’m assuming there’s no way to have both at the same time, so how can I resolve this issue? Do I have to cancel the other website first? Or is there like a domain transfer process or something? Please help! Thanks.
