registering an existing domain

  I would like to transfer the registration of an existing domain to wordpress – I’ve found links for creating a new domain, and for mapping to an existing now, but none for transferring the registration. Please advise.

  Hi Heidi,

  We cannot accept incoming domain transfers at WordPress.com. If you registered a domain with us under one account, I can help you move it to another account — but if it was registered anywhere other than WordPress.com, you’ll need to keep the domain registered there and just map as an existing domain to WordPress.com.
