registering .com.au domain with wordpress

  Hello

  I am located in Australia and would like to set-up the domain dashingwood.com.au. I have already registered my website domain with wordpress – it is dashingwood.com

  Does wordpress offer .com.au domain registrations (if so, where can I find this info?) or will I need to register with another registrar and map my wordpress site to my new .com.au domain?

  I would like my (as yet unestablished) .com.au domain to be my primary domain.

  We only offer .com, .net, .org, and .me domain registrations at the time. You can register your .com.au elsewhere and then map it using a domain mapping, as described here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#instructions-for-mapping-an-existing-domain

  I would like my (as yet unestablished) .com.au domain to be my primary domain.

  Once you’ve set up your domain mapping, you can update the primary domain under Store > Domains.
