registering domain

  I attempted to register a domain, got an error said there was a problem in processing the registration, try again, so I did, two more times, and got the same error. I gave up. Apparently there is no way to contact WP staff? I would also like to know if my CC has been charged, not charged, charged three times or what. This is NOT what I call a happy experience!

  Hi there,

  I do not see any charges go through, nor any errors. What was the error that you received? Did you try purchasing the domain under a different browser?

  Well, I’m a little leery of going through the complete checkout process again after 3 times, but it said “there was an error in completing the checkout. Please try again.” It appeared in a red box in the upper right corner of the screen (if that matters).

  The Pay button changed to “sending your payment” and didn’t change back after the error. Using the back arrow on my browser took me back to the beginning of the purchase where I had to fill out all the information again, i.e., domain name, contact info, card info, etc.

  Card number, address, name, CVS/CVV number, all were correct. No balance on the card, should clear no problem.

  I started using Firefox, and they’ve got it so screwed up I’m not surprised it wouldn’t work.

  I switched to IE, but received the same error.
