Registering IP address with communal site

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi,

I’m part of a team behind a website (that is not yet live to the public), but I can’t actually see the website either, because I need to register my IP address apparently- how do I do this, please?
I have my own log-in and password, so I can submit posts to be published, but then I can’t actually see any of them.

I think the website is powered through wordpress.org.

ANY help would be appreciated, thank you!

We provide support here only for WordPress.COM hosted blogs.
We do not provide support for WordPress.ORG software installs.
    Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
I’m sorry but we cannot provide accurate answers to any blogger who fails to provide the exact URL starting with http:// for the exact blog they refer to so we can verify where it is hosted. Please do that now.

I think the website is powered through wordpress.org.

If that site is not hosted here by WordPress.COM, then our support docs do not relate to it, and we cannot provide support for it. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
