Registering my blog as a new domain–will I lose all info and formatting?

  I would like to register my blog as a new domain.

  However, if I do so, will I lose all of the content, formatting, and images on my current blog if I change the name and register it?

  Granted, I should have chosen better when I began my blog, but the option to make it a domain did not exist then, and I did not think far enough ahead.

  Thanks for any info anyone can offer. I need to know, because I want this to happen soon.

  No! The only thing that will change is your site’s address. All of your content will remain available. Plus, if someone tries to go to your old address, they will be redirected to the new address.
