Registering my domain

  Hi, I’ve seen this question in quite a few other places, but I have yet to see a resolution to it. Basically, I have a blog that is hosted off-site at byteknights.net, and I want to link that with my wordpress account (under “my blog”), is there any way to do this?
  I am guessing worst case scenario I could cancel my hosting account, and get the .net from wordpress, but I really would rather not. I’m quite happy with godaddy at the moment.

  Do you want to use the top navigation bar here at WordPress.COM with your blog at Godaddy?

  If so, no it can’t be done.
