The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there! Assuming ktclub.com is available for purchase, you can get the custom domain upgrade to make that the address for your WordPress blog.
Check out this support document for more information on the process:

I already registered ktclub.com. but when I want to go onto the site it throws out a HUGE DOMAINS.com page. I need to see the blog there :(
-
Ah I see. In that case, you’ll want to map that domain to your WordPress.com blog. Check this out for more: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

I’m am totally lost. All I wanted to do was to register the domain. I wanted my ktclub.wordpress.com to be ktclub.com. I have no idea how to just get it back to that simple principle. Sorry for being such a drag, I might just ask for a refund, delete everything and start over.

If you did that you wouldn’t be able to get the WordPress site back and probably wouldn’t be able to re-register that domain, so you really would be starting over from scratch.
Let’s see if we can break this process down to make it a little more easy to digest.
You basically have to do two steps. First, you purchase the “domain mapping” upgrade from WordPress. That tells WordPress to allow incoming visits to the domain ktclub.com to route to your WordPress site.
Second, you then go to wherever you purchased the domain, ktclub.com. And there you tell it to use WordPress’ name servers, since each name registrar is different, I can’t tell you specifically how to set it. Normally it will be in your domain settings and be called Name servers or DNS servers.
The company you’re using probably has some sort of support option that can help you out with the settings.
Once you get to the settings, you’ll want to change whatever they have there to the WordPress name servers. There are three:
NS1.WordPress.com
NS2.WordPress.com
NS3.WordPress.comOnce you get that set, please note that there is a delay as all of the name servers across the internet have to synchronize. In my experience, this usually happens within 24 hours. But, in some cases it can take up to 72 hours for everything to settle in.
Once that’s done, you’re good to go.
Let me know if you need more clarification on any of the steps.

Okay, but I never purchased that domain anywhere else except on WordPress, which is why I am struggling, I think I may have purchased the wrong thing on WordPress. The domain never existed anywhere, I just wanted to remove the “wordpress” from the domain name. I think I did that in the wrong place which ended up costing me all this trouble.

Oh, ok.
Yes, I think we got confused along the way here. You have to own the domain to map it according to the info I posted. In this case, ktclub.com is owned by someone else (and is being sold for about 3500 dollars.)
You don’t automatically get access to the domain without WordPress.com in the address when you register a site at WordPress.
But, you can buy a custom domain through WordPress as long as it’s generally available. Since the one you want isn’t available, you’ll have to come up with a different name.
There’s no need to change the underlying WordPress.com site as it doesn’t matter what WordPress.com address the blog uses once you link a custom domain to your site.
I hope that clears it up, I’m starting to confuse myself :)

You bought domain mapping, as noted above you did not buy / register ktclub.com – you need a refund on the domain mapping – I will flag this for the staff to help since you are struggling – that way the wrong things will not be canceled

If you want to remove the “wordpress.com” from the URL you will need to pick a name other than ktclub.com since it is owned by someone else
