Registering my WP.com website as a Basic Attention Token-eligable publisher
-
I use the free version of WordPress.com.
I am interested making my WordPress.com website a BAT-eligible (Basic Attention Token) publisher. Here are a few webpages about BAT:
https://basicattentiontoken.org/bat-a-natural-way-to-contribute-to-publishers/
https://brave.com/faq-payments/#what-is-brave-paymentsOn https://publishers.basicattentiontoken.org, when I am going through the process to list my website as a publisher it says to do so I must verify with basicattentiontoken.org and that there are 2 methods:
1. Place a trusted file in a directory on my website, or
2. Edit DNS records for my domainIs it possible to do either of these verification methods on any paid WordPress.com plan?
Thanks

Hi there,
I’m afraid, but this is not supported on WordPress.com sites even if you upgrade to a paid plan and use a custom domain.
