Registering new blog

  I’ve tried numerous times to register a new blog purchasing a domain name.
  Once I hit ‘create blog’, it refreshes the page and asks me to fill in the fields all over again.
  Help?

  Would you mind skipping the domain purchase stage for now and just purchase a regular free blog?

  You can then add the domain after the fact via Store -> Domains in the blog’s Dashboard.

  Please let us know if that worked for you!

  I want to skip it although the name I would like includes dashes (-) and is currently taken by other free wordpress.com users. Therefore causing me to buy the domain. Any other suggestions? Thank you for the speedy reply!

  To be honest, I’d recommend choosing a different name.

  If you ever wanted something like the first name, you could map an actual domain to it later via Store -> Domains in the blog’s Dashboard.
