  Please im using wordpress 3.9.2. how can i enable user registration. i am planning to give acces to people to register from the frontend. how can i enable users registration. iv downloaded countless of widgets, but they keep complaining that signup is disabled

  Did you check Dashboard > Users > Invite New option?

  You can read about user roles here. Are you looking for anything different to this?
