  Hello:
  I am having an issue getting into my website. I am trying to change the name to the name of the website.
  This is what my email said
  Your username is: oldladyinroom
  You can create a password at the following URL:
  [redacted by staff]
  Then I get
  That username is already in use.
  The registration is still pending, please check your email for the confirmation link.
  Can you help me.

  Please don’t post sensitive information like a password reset link in a public forum. Anyone who saw this thread can use that link to reset the password and gain access to your WordPress.org username account.

  You are posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com.

  For help with a WordPress.org username account, please contact the moderators over there directly at forum-password-resets[at]wordpress.org

  For help accessing the admin account for your stand-alone WordPress site, please contact your hosting provider directly for help. The admin account for your site and your WordPress.org username account are not the same thing, and resetting the password for your WordPress.org account will not give you access to your site’s admin account.
