Registration Cancelation Help

    I registered my domain name with wordpress.com not realising you can not use an ftp with this, you have to use wordpress.org.
    It says that i can get a refund within two days, but contact support is closed. Does anyone have an email address i can contact them on to get this refund. thanks

    I will do this but right now your domain will switch back to the blog address here. Can you cancel the upgrade then post back?

    Alternatively – get hosting elsewhere, change the DNS in the domain control panel to the new host. Then check http://en.support.wordpress.com for a way to send traffic to the new domain.

    Canceling then re-grabbing a domain name is imprecise and you could lose it. You might now but the possibility is there.

    Let me know though and I’ll get the refund if you want.
    Canceling a domain does not mean you can buy it straight away. The depends on the registrar so it could be up to 5 days.
