  I’m sure this has probably been asked before but search did not reveal what I’m looking for.

  Question 1
  I host my own WP website. I want people to register to view private pages. However, once they type in their email address, the confirmation email is never sent.

  Question 2
  Outside of the built-in registration process, what is the best FREE plug-in to use for registration

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  As you’re hosting your website on your own and are using the open source version of WordPress, i.e. WordPress.org, please ask for support in the WordPress.org forums for self-hosted websites.
