Registration emails not being sent?
-
I have a blog with a hosting account (wordpress.com). The reason I say this is because I think it has something to do with the fact that registering to the site will not send a confirmation email. Therefore no one can register as a user or otherwise. I am using buddypress as well to do this. Is there something I have to do within my hosting account to make it known that a certain email address of mine will be used to send emails? If so does anyone know the file structure? If not does anyone know what to do? I have checked my settings multiple times…

Users cannot self-register at wordpress.COM. you have to add them as users. If the blog is set to private, you can add up to 35 users for free that can view the blog (they will have to have, or get a worpdress.com account, but they do not have to have a blog).

If you are wanting to add them as contributors or authors, again they must have or get a wordpress.COM account (no blog required).

Also, buddypress cannot be integrated here at wordpress.COM and there will be no connection from the buddypress installation to your wordpress.COM blog.
