Registration issues

I am trying to signup for a new blog but the sign up page keeps reloading and it is not registering my blog. I deleted the cookies and changed the browser but it is not working. I am training some public schools to use word press for their school magazine and I can’t get new registrations. I checked your forums and there was no solution. It seems that every time the problem gets solved by a wordpress staff member internally. Please help.

Please tell us:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/
(c) Exactly what you experience including what any error reports you receive state.I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

I’m using a Dell laptop. I tried using Chrome, FireFox, and IE and none of them worked. With Chrome and Firefox the registration page keeps reloading. With IE it shows that the sign up page fails to load “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.” although I’m connected and using the net on other tabs.
Please note that I do not have any problems logging on with my account. It is when I try to create a new account that the information I enter on the page do not seem to get entered and no email activation is sent. -

Were you trying to register new accounts while logged into your current account? If you can provide a screenshot of the errors you’re seeing that would be great.
For the moment, try logging out of your account and retry registering. Here’s a support page that can help:
