registration mandatory & restricting private user

    Hi all,
    Few days back i have created a family dairy blog for all our family members which i wish to keep it private.

    1) Is it mandatory to have user account registed in WP for followers

    2) If i want to restrict , Moderate or delete an follower in my private blog for posting.

    1) Yes, otherwise WP has no way to make sure the people reading the blog are the people who were invited.

    2) You Invite them to be whichever role you want: User/reader, Author, Editor, or Administrator.
