Registration required?

    I am creating a blog for a church group, and the leader does not want the readers to be required to create a profile on WordPress to follow our blog.

    I’ve been with WordPress for so long, I don’t know if registration is required, and I can’t find the answer in your online support or with SE searches.

    Is registration required?

    Nope! A WordPress.com account is not required to follow your blog. You can use the Follow Blog widget to put a sign-up form on your sidebar. Alternatively, logged out visitors will be shown a subscription form on the bottom right-hand side of the page like your site mydogdontbite.com:
