Registring new users.

  Hi all,
  I am looking for a way to register new users to my blog on wordpress.com. Or is it mandatory to have a wordpress.com blog to comment and like on my blog posts?
  I am new to wordpress please help.

  Hello there, Your site visitors do not need to have a WordPressdotcom account in order to comment on your site (unless you have restricted comments to logged in users). However, they will need one in order to Like your posts, as Likes is a feature exclusive to signed-in WordPressdotcom users. https://en.support.wordpress.com/likes/

  You can send invitations to people to follow your site as Followers. When they click the link in the invitation email, they will be registering for a WordPressdotcom account, but don’t need to sign up for a blog. Here’s more on that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/
