Regulus 2 Theme and <pre>/<code> tags

  My blog is using the Regulus 2 theme. When I want to quote a piece of programming code using the <pre> or tag, the text inside the tag isn't in monospace. Is there a way to get around this problem?

  Eck, I forgot the “code” tag is a valid tag in this forum. Ugh. Anyway, it’s <pre> or “code” tag.
