Reimbursed
-
Hi,
I had payment for WordPress taken out of my PayPal. I don’t even remember when I signed up and definitely haven’t used it once since I did. I’ve cancelled the payment through PayPal but is there any way of being reimbursed?
Thanks.

Unfortunately, you failed to provide any details. Automattic Inc. https://automattic.com/ owns WordPress.com and other products like Akismet and VaultPress, etc. so this could be a charge related to one of them. It’s important to know that each charge is sent to the registered email address for each username account, so if you have more than one username account that could be confusing you. Also, if you have a wordpress.org account and a wordpress.com account that could be confusing you.
What are the specifics please?
Which username account and site URL does this relate to?

re: Refunds
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours. It takes from 1 – 2 weeks or 7 – 10 business days for the refund to be received.re: Canceling upgrades
Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account. You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

Hi there,
The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com, and have never bought any upgrades with us. Is it possible that you have another username/site that might be connected to this payment?
Please use the wpchrg.com site @timethief linked to above to search for the transaction. You can also contact our billing team privately from there to provide more info to help us track down what this payment was for.
