Reinstate cancelled domain name

  Hi, I unintentionally deleted my domain name thinking I am deleting the website. How can I reinstate my deleted domain name?

  Hi –

  I am looking at meghanahulsure.com so please let me know if there’s a different domain involved.

  The domain was registered and cancelled on the same day. It will be available again to get registered as new from any provider with in 5 days of that cancellation.

  If you want to use the domain immediately then write back to me here. I will restore the domain to the account, and email you a payment form for the registration. The registration has been refunded already which is why you would need to pay for it again.

  If we restore the domain to the WordPress.com account as described in that last paragraph then you can still use it at another provider by editing the DNS records. Those instructions are here: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/change-name-servers/

  Let me know what option is best for you.

  Hi there,

  Do you want to use the domain here on WordPress.com, or elsewhere? If you want to use it here on WordPress.com, you’ll need to buy a new plan at My Site ->Plans before we can restore it.

  If you plan on pointing it somewhere else until it becomes eligible for transfer in 60 days, please pay for it using the link I’m emailing you instead, and let us know here once you’ve done that.
