    Please can you get my philaruss.wordpress.com site up and running again. It has been shut down. One – I bought a web address (philruss.com) for my site which ran out in January but I never renewed it. I just want to get the free address back on my website built. I need philaruss.wordpress.com back please.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Indeed philruss.com does not load, but your site at philaruss.wordpress.com loads for me, although it has the “expired domain” overlay on it, which can be dismissed by clicking the X on the right.

    If you no longer need or want a custom domain, and you are logged in with the username account that registered the site, you can go into your site’s Domain dashboard and set your original WPcom address as the Primary address. https://wordpress.com/my-domains/

    Having said that, be aware that anyone clicking on a link that contains your old custom domain name, say from search engine returns, will still come up against the “This webpage is not available”. It will not redirect to your WPcom address.
