Reinstating a WordPress domain name

  It seems I used the domain I want before. When I go to it it says it’s been deleted. Is there a way to re-instate it? It doesn’t come up as an option when I put it in as my domain name of choice. How do I do this?

  This is wordpress.COM support. We do not provide support for wordpress.ORG software installs here.

  Deleted wordpress.COM blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Adding a New Site or Blog to an Existing Account https://en.support.wordpress.com/create-a-blog/#adding-a-new-site-or-blog-to-an-existing-account

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

  Indeed, it is not a wordpress.org page. You’re in the right place! :)

  Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address. So, jeremygladen.wordpress.com cannot be reinstated or reused. Sorry! This is also to protect you, so that no one can impersonate you in the future. For more information about deleted sites, please visit:

  Oh, and just in case you meant that you bought a domain name from WordPress.com and that it had expired, this support documentation might be able to you: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/
