Reinstating an old blog
-
I’ve had a wordpress blog for years and really like it. This year, come auto pay time I had a new credit card- the old one had expired and I didn’t act quickly enough. I now don’t have access to my blog. How do I get back to having access?
I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

Hey there, I don’t see any sites on this account. We don’t remove sites for non-payment; they can get downgraded, but they wouldn’t disappear. So I’m not sure what your site was. If you can share a link to it, that will help us figure out your next steps, whether it’s to log into the correct account and re-add the plan, or whether it’s to contact your hosting company if we aren’t it. Let us know!

Ah! I see you shared the site link in another thread. Yes, if you’ll log out and log back in using the email address on file with that site, you should just be able to re-add the plan, or you can contact support for any further assistance.
And if necessary, here’s how to recover access. Cheers!
At some point, you may run into a situation in which you’ve lost access to your account. We want to ensure that you take the necessary steps to avoid getting locked out and set up your WordPress.com account to be recoverable.
