I am trying transfer my domain, Iltoccofresco.com to bluehost and in the process get the a message stating “Rejected by Wild West Domains, Inc.”

I read other posts and in one it mentioned “private registration” but i cannot find this.

    Currently,
    I unlocked the domain.
    got the EPP code
accepted transfer on WP domain admin
    got a verification code
got rejected by Wild West Domains, inc on bluehost

    any help would be appreciated

Your domain does not seem to have private registration when I looked at whois – if you did have private registration – you might try again after the changes have had time to migrate a bit

I have also flagged this for the staff to help

I believe i found the problem:

The transfer you requested has been declined because you opted-in to a transfer lock for 60 days when you agreed to the WordPress.com Change of Registrant policy

Does transferring to a new registrar with an account that has a different name trigger this lock?

will the transfer auto complete after the 60 days?

    thanks again,

    Hi there,

Yes, changing the name of the registrant will lock the domain for 60 days. Depending on how close you are to the end of the 60 days, it will autocomplete (say, within 5 days or so), but if not you will need to re-initiate the transfer once the 60 days have completed. In general, I find that it’s best to just re-initiate it.

gotcha. I believe i initiated the lock so i will wait the 60 days and re-initiate if it doesn’t auto-complete.

    thank you for responding,

    Justinn
