Related Posts?

Now that I’ve had my blog for 8 years, I have a lot of posts that are in a series that I’ve started earlier or have earlier posts that relate in some way that I want to highlight for the reader. I’ve been adding a little postscript to these posts with linked titles of these other posts, but some of these lists are getting long and cumbersome and not very pretty for the reader. Tonight I thought I would fiddle around with making a gallery of photos that would be linked to the related posts, but gallery photos don’t appear to allow linking to URLs, so that’s out. This seems like a feature that other users would have wanted a long time ago and maybe I’ve missed how to do it. Basically, I’m looking for an easy and reader-friendly way to link to related posts, perhaps with the featured image as a thumbnail and the title out to the side. Something more visually engaging than a long list of linked titles? Have I missed a helpful widget or easy way to do this? Any ideas?

Hi there, Besides the actual “related posts” feature, you can link to posts in the same category or tag with a separate category page or use the display posts shortcode.
