The moment I paid for my domain I lost the related posts function.
How do I get this back so I have a selection of similar blogs to feature in my blog? -
Hey there!
It seems the “Related posts” area after your posts is working fine.
If you would like to customize how that area appears on your site, you can take a look here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/related-posts/On the other hand, if what you are looking for is a list of links pointing to other websites, perhaps you are looking for a specific widget like “Blogs I Follow”, for example:

I added those links from previous blogs, however there doesn’t seem to be the suggestions that used to come up before I paid for the domain, and that is what I am referring to.
It doesn’t give me a related links option, any longer.
I literally had to create it via cut and paste and search. -
It sounds like you are asking about the Zemanta integration, which is no longer part of WordPress.com:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/removing-zemanta-integration?replies=1The related posts feature has replaced it, but functions a bit differently:

Yes, it was zemanta. I am sorry that has gone. It was a great function. It’s strange that it went just when I purchased.
