Related Posts Not Working

  Hello,

  I would like to report that Related Posts have not worked for me all day today so far on Firefox 33 for Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS or Windows 8.1, usually when this happens it is a temporary bug that only lasts a hour or two or so once a staff member notices the bug (I have had to report this problem several times before ;) ), and so I a reporting this because it has lasted the entire day so far without being fixed (probably because it is the weekend ;) ).

  I imagine that this will be fixed by some time tomorrow, but I wanted to report it so that the staff will know about it sooner rather than later.

  Hello Dennis,

  Strange, Related Posts are still working for me this morning, have you tried clearing your cookies/cache/et cetera in your browser and then try it again? (For more information on how to do this read the WordPress.com Browser Issues Support Page)

  Sorry about this.

  We experienced a few brief outages of related posts last week and while trying to do some maintenance to improve our infrastructure we caused a slightly longer outage yesterday.

  There will be continued work this week, and we hope at the end of it we’ll have a more reliable infrastructure and also improve the speed with which we suggest related posts. I’m not currently anticipating any more outages, but there is some risk it could happen.
