related posts on my blog

I would like to see a feature that shows at the end of the post related posts on my blog to the one that I just have published.
I think this is a good featured especially for someone new to your blog. Right now I have to put for every post and it’s a pain.
This one that I’m suggesting is totally different than the one that has on the extras, because I don’t want related posts from outside of my blog.

First, if you are hosted here, please link your user name to your blog. From the sticky at the top of the forum:
How to make your name link to your blog:
Go into your dashboard -> users -> your profile -> then scroll down to ‘contact info’. In the spot where it says ‘website’ fill in the address of your blog and save the changes.
Now… when you comment here and on other blogs, your name will link to your blog. If you do this before you post your request for help, it will allow forum volunteers to be able to help you quicker since they won’t have to ask you for a link and wait until you come back to post one.Second – ever since the related posts feature was implemented, this has been requested. (A quick search of the forums will give you that answer.) If you truly want it to happen, send a note to support.

Sorry I didn’t know about the rules that I had to have my blog linked on my name, but to tell you the truth I don’t think it would matter because my blog is in Portuguese so people wouldn’t understand.
I really looked on the forums and I couldn’t find any answer to have links of related posts on the post that have been published.
I know that exist one feature that put related post from wordpress blogs but the one that I suggest is to create related posts just from my blog.
However, I will follow your advice and send a note to support but I thought this forum was created for that purpose.

If you want related posts just from your blog then at this point
you’ll need to add those links manually to your post. -
falamano – the reason for asking for a blog link is to make sure you are hosted here. We get an awful lot of questions from folks who aren’t. It’s not a RULE to have your blog linked, but it sure makes it a heck of a lot easier on volunteers in the forum.
As for only wanting PRP linking to your own posts – since the day the “feature” debuted, we’ve been asking for that. Yes, staff looks at the ideas forum but with the volume of posts on this forum, sometimes things get overlooked. By sending it to staff, you are sure that they see it. (And on an issue like this, when so many of us have asked for it, it doesn’t hurt to have another voices added to the chorus.)

I know that the WP.com site http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com has a workaround and always manually adds the related links at the end of the posts. You may want to search that site for some tips.
