I want to reset/clean my WordPress site so I can start fresh with a new e-commerce setup.
Please note the following requirements:
- The domain must remain connected and unchanged.
- The current plan and all free plugins/features included with the domain should remain active.
- All WooCommerce-related plugins and e-commerce features available for this domain/plan should remain enabled and accessible.
- I only want the site content (pages, posts, media, existing layouts) to be cleared/reset.
- No domain removal, no plan downgrade, and no loss of any benefits.
Please guide me or assist in resetting only the website content while keeping everything else intact.

We can’t help as that site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform – https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/http://dsguptacompany.com. You must head over to https://wordpress.org/ to get an answer to your questions

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out and describing your goal in such detail, that’s always super helpful. It looks like dsguptacompany.com is hosted over at Hostinger, and not here at WordPress.com. The site is connected to your WordPress.com but we aren’t able to do a reset through that connection.
A little background on that: It’s possible to build a site with WordPress on another host besides WordPress.com. You can read a little about the differences here. The short version is that your site uses the same underlying WordPress software that WordPress.com sites use, but you’re doing it independently of our systems.
Not to worry though, there are ways you can accomplish your goal! Here are a few ways to approach it, though there are other strategies as well.
Bulk deletion: WordPress’ built-in bulk editing can be used to delete large numbers of posts, pages, products, etc. all at once. This guide explains how it works, and will also apply to your self hosted site. This isn’t a one-click reset, but it’s faster than deleting things one by one, doesn’t require additional technical expertise or any add-ons. This approach prioritizes simplicity over speed.Next in line would be a plugin-based approach. If you search (either in the “Add plugin” section of your site or on a search engine) for WordPress Reset plugins, you’ll likely find multiple options to choose from. Be sure to confirm that your chosen plugin can reset the specific items you want. This approach is more balanced between complexity (adding a plugin) and complexity.
Additional options from here get increasingly technical, from re-installing WordPress with a fresh database to command line tools that are, in general faster but more complicated to implement.
My advice: Start by contacting Hostinger. We have tools for our WordPress.com clients to reset a site exactly how you’ve described with a few clicks. Hostinger might have a similar option for you. If not, the plugin method I’ve described above is probably the best balance between complexity and effectiveness
