    Hi, how long will it take to release the domain? I cancelled it Sunday July 25th.

    Hi! It depends on the age of the domain. Since your domain was registered within the past five days, the registry will release it within five days.

    We also have an option to restore it if you need it right away. You’d pay for the domain, we’d restore it, and you can point it to your new service. Then you can transfer it to another registry too, if you’d like, after 60 days. Let us know if you want to do that option and we’ll send an invoice. Most domains are $18/year, and the year would go with you to the new provider.
