release of domain name

  i was attempting to start website with GoodBodyButter.com decided to go with another company executed transfer of domain name need it to be released

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hi there,

  While the domain, goodbodybutter.com, was recently registered with us, it was not registered by the chanvio417 account you used to create this forum thread. We can only restore the domain at the request of the account that originally bought it.

  But if you want to use it somewhere else, it should become available again in a few more days, at which point you’ll be able to register it.

  Note that the process a domain goes through after you cancel it is not in our control, and it’s not possible for us to manually release a domain. If and when it becomes available again is determined by the registry that manages the specific domain extension.
