Release of my domain to Bluehost

  Just would like an update as to how long this process is going to take?

  Bluehost says to contact Automattic Inc., and also that it takes 7 (eek!) days to complete transfer! Im supposed to get an email to “accept” release.

  ??

  Hi jaimeleestepic,

  I’ve checked on the status of your domain and it is currently pending transfer.

  Im supposed to get an email to “accept” release

  There is a waiting period of 5 days once you have given your new registrar the transfer code. During this time you should receive an email to confirm or cancel the transfer. After the transfer has been confirmed, your domain should be transferred within 5 days.

  As Bluehost mentioned, the transfer isn’t instant but I can see it’s in progress.
